2 x Double Rooms Available From June 2011 Near Salford Uni (With Photos) Watch

    Hi there,

    We are going to have 2 double rooms available to let in our house from July 2011 - July 2012. The house is currently occupied by 8 Salford University students; however 2 of those students are going to be moving back home in the summer, leaving 2 rooms available. There will be 4 males and 2 females in the house, all aged between 20 and 23.

    The house is on a small street called Brentwood, just off Eccles Old Road. In contrast to many parts of Salford, this is a nice quiet area (it is right next to a park and an old people's complex). It is only a 15 minute walk to Salford University, or if preferred it is right next to a bus stop that goes straight into Manchester passed Salford University. There is also on street parking available (my car has been parked on the street all year and I haven't had any issues).

    Everyone in the house has lived together for the last 2 years and get on really well with each other and anyone else for that matter. Next year 4 of us will be in our third and final years and two others will be in their second years. We do like to socialize and go out every now and then, but the majority of the time we will be knuckling down and prioritising Uni work.

    To give a brief idea of what everyone in the house is like - one person is doing a Building Surveying degree, another Media & TV, one Photography, one Sports & Leisure Management, one Military History and one English & Creative Writing. We would be happy for people to apply to live with us on their own, or as a couple or friends.

    The rent is £60 per week plus bills (works out at £10 per week for bills each), but only £30 per week for the first 2 months. The house is a very good size with large double bedrooms, has a very large communal living room and a large communal kitchen. There is a 50mb broadband internet connection set up at the house, sky television, 3 bathrooms, dish washer, washing machine and everything else that you would expect. There is also a large basement where we have a pool table, weights bench and darts board set up.
