Has anyone else been predicted grades ABC?

I have and it is incredibly awkward because I would like to study English Literature at Uni and there are no Unis which want those specific grades. I have ended up applying to Unis which want a UCAS tarriff of 280 points as there are hardly any which require 300 points for English Lit!

Has anyone else had a similar problem!?

I know just what you mean. Its either AAA or 280 points with little in between. I put Surrey down as my back up!

I have applied to Hull, in their prospectus for English it says 280-320 points, yet they have offered me 320 points from 3 A-Levels (ABB) which I'm not even predicted!

They gave you an offer based on their entry requirements. It's normal for a uni to give an offer higher than a persons predicted grade.
