Bio-Oil

I know there's been loads of threads on this before, but I have a specific question!

I am in Canada at the moment, and I'm going to get some bio-oil from eBay because they don't sell it here. Because it is a little pricey to send over I plan on buying as much as I will need now. But I do not know how much that is! I had shingles over the summer and the skin across my cheeks looks a little uneven now (not really badly but annoyingly). I also have a couple of noticable scars on my leg that I want to use it on. The bottles are 60ml - can anyone estimate for me how long that'd last if I was using it twice a day?

Cheers me dears!

Depends on how much of an area you have to use it on, Palmers Cocoa Butter can have the same effect, but the calendula in Bio-Oil is lovely lol! (A 60ml bottle) It lasts me about 1/2 months but thats regular use every day and thats on my arms, as you are only supposed to use a little at a time it should last for a good while

just incase you should maybe buy 2 bottles of it....if it isnt too expensive or just buy one bottle and use Cocoa Butter after its finished or cut up vitamin E oil capsules and rub them into the affected area, those are two cheaper solutions which do work as well as Bio-Oil  xoxo
Awesome tammy_girl, thanks! I think I'll get two just to be sure - I'm hoping that then the ones on my leg will be gone by summer so I can parade around in skirts looking extra hot!
is bio oil any good for scars? i have a scar on my hand and i want it gone! or at least faded.

yeah its good at minimizing the effects of the scar but it would take a while for it to fully heal Vitamin E capsules which are burst onto the affected area can be just as good as bio-oil  xoxo
I saw this on Countryfile today, the new way of powering cars. Get loads and help the environment.
