So, home from uni and can watch mind numbing drivle (is that a word?) on a big telly to my hearts content.

Any decent stuff on TV for Christmas. I remember when i was wee loads of good films (ET/Beethoven/Miracle on some street with that lassie from Matilda/Home Alone/Matilda) would air at Christmas.

I suppose it's hard to get excited about films and shows nowadays because the internet gives us so much choice. But i'm so in the moood.

    Thanks

There's a new comedy from Matt Lucas and David Walliams called Come Fly With Me. It's set in an airport. It's on at 10pm on Christmas Day, I think.

As for actual Christmas based programs, Noel's Christmas Presents on Sky One can warm the heart. The title is pretty self explanatory, it's Noel Edmonds sending deserving people on holidays and giving them presents etc.

Also Shrek is on BBC One tomorrow afternoon and Cars is on the day after.

The Matt Lucas/David Walliams programme looks good - 'Come Fly With Me' (BBC1 Christmas Day 10pm)

Apart from that I haven't seen anything else of interest.

I hope it's good. I didn't follow most of the last series for some reason. I thought the idea of evil pensioners was inspired though.

It might not be your thing, but 'the other boleyn girl' is on tonight at 9pm. I've wanted to catch it for a while so I'm gonna watch it.

If you like period drama with kings and bonking, I imagine you'll like it. I'm assuming there will be bonking, there usually is with these things.

I do love Matt Smith, tweed, bow ties and braces. Put them all together and I'm in heaven.

Seeing as it stars Scarlett Johansson and (I think) Natalie Portman, who I have only recently discovered, I hope there is a fair share of bonking too.

And those legendary American films! The programs and films are a main part of Christmas too.
