    Any SGUL students on here?

I Just got my exam results (1st year GEP) and passed both modules overall, but the BCS section of Life Protection was an absolute disaster, way below the pass mark. Any idea what happens now?

-nothing because I passed the exam overall?
    -resit the exam?
    -resit just the BCS section?

Also, will I lose a progression point? I really don't want to lose one this early in the course. Anyone have any idea? Won't be able to get an official answer from SGUL till after new year.

I'm a second year on the MBBS5 stream.

When you say you passed both modules, are you referring to PPD/CPH and P&D (OSCE)?

I think that if you managed to get an overall acceptable, you should be fine to carry on. You would get a cause for concern if your marks fell up to 15% below the pass mark - though it's a pass nonetheless. You would just need to make up for the deficit in later exams. Anything below that and you would get an unacceptable, which means you'd lose a progression point and have to sit it again.
