No doubt this poster campaign by a group of extremist muslims will raise tension and hatred in parts of britain. Is it really necessary to do such a thing. Fools!

Islam4UK/al-Muhajiroun are just publicity-whores who depend for their existence on BBC and other media interviews. This is probably incompatible with their doing anything that is actually threatening, so they probably belong in the same 'ignore' bin as the Westboro Baptist Church.

I'm not even going to read it because it will upset me and it's Christmas Day. Whatever it is they've said I wish they would just shut up. Christmas is not evil. It's the most non-evil time of the year. x

Made me lol, poor rave victims :p:

Whoever made it must think people believe things based on what they'd like to be true and not what they think (or believe) to be true.

Unfortunately a lot of Muslims get the impression that social life in Britain is based around Alcohol, and excessive amounts of it. Being a social highlight, Christmas is seen as an excuse to drink and that is it. Islam also has a generally anti-materialist view towards the world, and seeing how far Christmas seems to be commercialised I am not really surprised that some extremists got together and made this.
I am just thankful that not all Muslims are like this, I know Muslim families that send Christmas cards to their neighbours, and heck even Bethlehem which is full of Muslims and Christians openly celebrates Christmas and people live comfortably there. What you see here is one of the many results of a barrier between two cultures; that of Islam and that of Britain as a nation. Hopefully as Muslims and non-Muslims in Britain start to understand each other, then these things will be overcome.

"Mr Rumaysah told the Mail that he was unconcerned about offending Christians"

Yet all it took was one drawing by a Danish cartoonist, and their religion gets up in arms.
Don't give it if you can't take it.

Also, that was way more than 12 days :pierre:
"Rights for women" was lulzworthy given that women are still treated as second-class citizens in the Middle East sometimes.

Isn't this poster highly offensive to Christians? And therefore illegal? Oh wait a minute, what am I thinking??? This is Britain - so of course it's okay to promote this poster, (I am surprised we haven't provided lottery funding to pay for it) just as it's perfectly okay for a group of hateful non Christians (with a police escort to protect them whilst they are doing it) to go out and burn a giant poppy on Remembrance Sunday, and its okay to publicly invite people to deface the bible in an Edinburgh art gallery (and call it 'art') but let's not, whatever we do, insult anyone elses religion or the full weight of the law will be down upon us faster than lightning. But hey, it's okay as long as it's just offending Christians, right?
By the way, I have just managed to somehow get through my Christian Christmas without contracting an STD, having an abortion, being the victim of domestic violence or finding myself homeless... phew!!! Next dangerous activity, going over Niagara falls in a barrel.....

I love how homelessness is listed as one of the evils.

No seriously. Have you never stared into the coal black eyes of the homeless? Pure evil i tell you.
