Well it would obviously be preferred if you have Economics, but I haven't done the Econ A level and I've applied for Economics related courses and have got an offer from UCL as well as an interview at Cambridge, so as long as you show enough passion and knowledge for the subject, you should be okay. A professor at LSE actually said that maths was more essential for economics than economics itself, because it involves so much quantitative stuff. You have math and calculus, which is good, so don't worry about it.

    Thanks!
i see you got accepted to UCL, omg! i really really want to study econ at ucl, i dont know if i will be accpeted though, my mind sort of tells me apply for business and management at somewhere else because econ is really competitive... ahh....
other than ucl, i have no other place to apply.... warwick's entry requirement is everything above 85% and i cant get english 85% so.... ya. if not ucl, i have no where else to go

    are you taking APs?
nope. Canadian high schools dont usually offer APs.
its really confusing because in the entry requirement for Canadian deploma it says, "good grades will be considered." so.... what is "good?" And also, do you think my bad grade in English will hurt my application? or not because, math is more important and I got "good" math and f.math grades.

No. There's Asians at Lse that speak poor English I would not worry. Yes maths is more important so well done. I agree with .ACS. just mail them.
