    Hello,

I have applied for Tuition Fee Loan in August. Today I have received a mail from the European Migrant Worker Team saying that they recently wrote to me requesting further evidence to support my application as a Migrant Worker in the Academic Year 2009/10. They asked for a copy of my contract of employment, 3 months payslips, my 2009/10 p60...

The thing is that I have never worked in the UK before. I'm European and I sent the application along with my passport. This was the only evidence I had to show them.

I have just rung them and they said that I have to go to the Home Office and ask them for a letter which proves that I have to right to stay here. This worries me. I have no idea what I should do now. Do you guys have any clues on what I should do now?

    Cheers.

Where exactly? Can I go to Job Centre? I'm not sure if Job Centre has anything to do with Home Office though.

I'm afraid I cannot find any relevant information regarding my case. I have no idea why they asked for such letter. I'm starting to lose my calm.

They shouldn't be asking for this if you are an EU national, as people from the EU have the right to free movement. Your passport should've been acceptable.

Thanks. I'm gonna ring them up again this morning to clarify this.

    Cheers Taiko!
