Hi, I'm in AS year, taking Intense Maths, Biology, Chemistry and physics. Next year I plan on definitely taking Further Maths and Chemistry. I'm really intereested in taking Actuarial Science and Uni recently as my new home tutor tells me the prospects are brilliant and it's one of the careers. I'm predicted A's for everything at AS apart from Physics which is at a B.

    This is my question?

How much of a chance do I stand of getting into Actuarial Science without economics? Should I take AS Economics or History in my A2 year to improve my chances? Would it even matter considering that it would only be at AS level and not the full A level.

    Thanks in advance .

I looked on a couple of university websites and none say it's required.
