Personally I'd opt for Goose, but would settle for Beef.

Didn't include Gammon because I presume many of you, por moi, have Gammon on boxing day?

For the veggies I've included nothing, because you aren't real people

Either Turkey or Goose, I can't see how you could possibly have anything else instead!

my aunt usually makes 3 types of meat - lamb and turkey, and then whatever other meat takes her fancy, but its usually beef i think. weve never had goose, for some reason it doesnt appeal to me.

Turkey but I'd love to try goose. Though that's probably a bit too exotic for my house. :mmm:

Whilst tradition dictates that it should be turkey all the way, one can't get past the fact that it is somewhat dry and tasteless. Given the choice, I for one would opt for venison because it tastes ****ing fantastic.

We usually have turkey but it has really gone up in price and we can't afford it so we have a huge piece of pork instead. I don't like turkey anyway, it bores me.

We also have a big leg of lamb for new years eve.

Both lamb and park aren't on the poll so I haven't voted.

You missed out lamb, one presumes it's more commonly consumed than goose or venison

Aha, some of it does! The bacon they make is ****ing hideous. With all of their other products they at least try to make it look like meat, but the bacon strips are bright pink, hard and rectangular...

I don't see the point in products such as quorn, if you don't want to eat meat why do you want to eat something that vaguely resembles and tastes like meat, when i was veggie a few years back i didn't try and find substitutes I just didn't eat meat xD
ah well different strokes for different folks.

I do eat meat now though, except pork products.
but yeah it's not nice stuff, tofu can be nice sometimes.

We have chicken most years, but this year we're having lamb. Our family isn't big enough to get a turkey.
