    Weighted reverse sit-ups seem to work well. In terms of endurance, I'd recommend lying flat on the floor (with no arching of the back) and holding your legs straight out, ~6 inches above the floor for as long as you can.

    There are much more productive ways of spending your time (eg; tabata burpees or sprints, a couple of sets of heavy compound lifting, ab wheel rollouts, etc).
