    he has one too and i know everyone uses BBM etc, is it worth it though? my dad might even have lying around but is bbm a good platform to talk? he's a coworker btw

    If its just him you want to contact, Id say no, simply because BBM is virtually the same thing as texting. So if the two of you have unlimited texts, there's no point.

    Besides, its stupid buying something because of another person.

    This is ridiculous.

    Spending so much money on a phone you may not even like, for someone else? If you are that desperate to contact him, there are a million other ways such as texting/Facebook/MSN. Making phonecalls are the best way to kickstart any relationship.

    the BB keyboard put me off plus iPhone apps are great, i have a macbook for a laptop so there's no poor woman here, lol.

    I love my blackbery and my BBM! Don't think I'll ever go back to another phone now, sticking with blackberrys for a long time (and I normally change my phone every six months).
