Hi im finding it frustrating that in say 3 or 4 mark questions i only pick up 66 to & 75 % of the marks thus dropping vital marks. I mean i know all the knowledge and what im putting down is correct it's just missing a key phrase like one non biological word.
The problem is is that this results in me losing up to 7 marks based on frequent mistakes like this.
I need A's and i feel my knowledge is definatley there, but just getting frustrated at the mark scheme penalising missing words.
Also any help on these graph questions ie. Control factors, blah blah

    Thats AQA biology for you

Again, only AQA would be annoying enough to do this, we dont get marks for knowing the answer, we only get them for explaining it in terms of the question

What i've noticed is that many students dont read the question properly, make sure you read the question, then re-read it, then go over it one last time to make sure you know what it is asking. Then if the question says explain, you must include the word because in your answer. Highlight that word, and the other word describe, this usually just wants you to say what pattern is occuring on the graph.

    Hope this helped
