I've decided to study international business at university and have a couple of questions:

1- Is it necessary to have a business A-level?
-I'm currently doing economics and have heard that universities count business and economics as the same A-level

2- I'm looking at taking up another AS next year, which would be most suitable? (subjects in sig)

    3- Suggested reading?

    thank you

nope. not at all, economics is just as handy if not more so

To be honest, there are no required subjects for business. Try and mix it up a little maybe? English? Maths? History? Geography? There wouldnt really be a preference to be honest.

    3- Suggested reading?
wow, thats dedication. your economics A Level should easily provide you with enough stuff to use in your PS of at interviews if you have any. Reading the news and keeping up to date with major economic articles might be useful, but it really isnt necassary unless youre applying for like E+M at Oxford or something
