Whats wrong with me??

i was due on my period on the 16th but i can be up to 7 days late,- no later that that though but i still havent come on this month well this morning i woke up early (which is normally what happens each month) i saw some blood so felt relieved- sorted myself out and went back to sleep. I woke up a few hours to find that there was hardly any blood at all and what there is - is really dark coloured, i have bad stomach cramps also.

my friends have said all the stress of going to uni has effected me and not to worry, but another has worried me by saying it could have something to do with my new bf - we havent had sex but have done other stuff but i am not sure when but i am pretty certian we didnt do any stuff that would make me pregnant (only done one thing i can think off and that was only a few days ago)

It may just be stress, if you are stressed out from going to uni it could be that, it may just be late, but if you are worried about it you could always talk to a doctor about it, however i wouldnt worry to much im sure it will be on the way soon :hugs:

Mind you if this was me id probably be partying xD During my last period my cramps were so painful i fainted, however my periods do only last 2 days  But still. And back on the post, i hope it arrives soon

If you haven't had sex with your boyfriend, then you can't be pregnant.
I find my periods sometimes just are really light for no apparent reason and certainly stress and changing environments can affect them, so i reckon it's something like that. If you are really worried you could see a doctor or take a pregnancy test but I suspect its nothing to worry about.

If you are really anxious then you should go and see a doctor. There is no harm in doing so. If your periods are normally regular then what you are describing is slightly odd however if could just be the stress of moving to a new place. I you think you can it might be worth waiting one more week before seeing the doctor just to see if they sort out. When I moved to uni I went onto a 6 week cycle for quite a while before I went back to normal.

Silly boy- timing is not right at all. Don't worry honey, it's almost certainly stress-related (periods can be very dependent on your moods), and is almost certainly not going to be pregnancy - the egg is released about mid-cycle and if you've had blood released then it would already have embedded in the lining of the uterus. If you're worried, see a doctor, but it really shouldn't be a problem. The brown is just dried blood.

It is unlikely that you are pregnant but intercourse is not always necessary for pregnancy, If he was 'happy' touched himself then you it could happen but it is pretty unlikely.

Anaemia is a possibility like someone said.

A lot of weight gain or loss can also change or stop your cycle as can a massive change in diet.

Your hormones could also just be a bit off at the mo, not sure what causes that exactly but it does happen.

Stress is more likely the answer.

I am actually extremely worried about mine at teh mo too, it's 77 days late! The one before was 20 days late!

If you are worried go to the doctor and have a pregnancy test (as I did).

It doesn't sound like anything's wrong, but if you're worried about it I suggest you see you're doctor.
A doctor sounds like the best idea if you're really worried. Ask to see a female doctor if you'd rather.

It could be due to stress as well!

just changing your location and your routine can be enough to make it irregular- change in sleep patterns, eating habits and level of exercise. everytime i made a significant move to a new place it happened to me. i wouldn't worry about it.
