Do you agree ? Do u believe that if you are friendly, loving and understandable towards people, they will be the same in return ?
Based on my personal experience, this is not the case usually

'Act towards ppl the same way as you would like them to act towards you' doesn't mean they will necessarily return the favour, and they often won't, but it's nice when they do.

    Fantastic.
You won't keep it up, you're human, the heat of the moment changes us.
But, I do try to be nice to people.

Smile, open doors, give spare change etc.

I don't do it to get any return, just to be a nice person.

yeah i agree with that... i'm nice enough but if someone crosses me i can be a bit of a byatch, only if they deserve it i don't see why you should waste your time being nice to someone who only puts you down

It is an interesting question and yes, it's not usually the case. People certify a judgment very quickly.

It's not how I'd like a masochist to behave, I know that much for sure.

maybe it's more to do with the whole thing that if you're nice and respectable, then you might see the world in a different perspective to someone who does otherwise.. so when someone does you wrong, you won't be as deeply affected by it?

if that made any sense at all

No I don't mean giving money to beggers or food to animals
I mean the way you act towards your friends in general

If you look carefully around you, you actually do see this taking place in real life.

You can never really predict the way someone's going to (re)act, but more often that not, if you're dotting the i's and crossing the t's of common courtesy, and you do it with grace, people can't help but respond in kind. It's almost like your conscience prods you into it, but mostly it's just because it's a nice feeling and you feel obligated, subconsciously, to return it. Well, unless you're too nice and then people just take you for a doormat really. But it does work both ways, you rawr at someone and they're likely to rawr back
