    UPDATE: WRONG
    I'm gonna tour Kyrgyzstan eventually, hopefully once university has finished, and I've just stumbled on the website of one of its universities.

    The university, which gives you a degree equivalent to any American degree (and will actually look more cool on a CV), charges £90 (rounded up).... That's not per term... that's annually O_O

    So if you want to study politics, american studies, sociology, and a few other subjects then do consider this =D.... If I had the relevant A levels then I'd be going myself.
    Obviously there are other things to consider, blah blah blah, but getting a degree for £90 annually certainly beats £6000-£9000 a year!

    WRONG

    EDIT::::

    Yep it's accredited
    It's funded and controlled by America and does a bunch of exchange stuff or something.
    And I wasn't gonna go anyway, lol... not to study. Am going simply to tour.
    AWW Damn you're right mrnightcat >.< - The night I was using to convert accidentally switched the money conversion from soms to Uzbekistan which is why the money seemed to only be £90.
    So people, it'll be just over £3000 ... which is still cheap compared to this country in a couple years time lol XD

    Just wondering, but from which place did you get that £90 figure? I've just had a look at the website, and undergraduate tuition fees for non-CIS countries are 224500 Kyrgyz soms per year - £3095.83 http://auca.kg/en/admissions/tuition

    On a more positive note, you've got good odds of getting funding if your academics meet what they want.
    Approximately 65% of undergraduates, about 700 students, benefit from a merit- and need-based financial aid program, which provides up to 90% of tuition costs in the form of scholarship.
    http://auca.kg/en/admissions/financial_aid

    From a look on Wikipedia this place looks pretty legit, funded by the US government and other sources. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/America...f_Central_Asia
