If all goes tits up and I get a 2:1, I shan't be able to do a fourth year in Cambridge. So, I'll need somewhere else to go.
What universities have reputations for being good at maths? Specifically, I want non-London, non-Warwick (as they require a first for their maths masters program), and the university must be good for pure maths (on the algebra, combinatorics etc side).
So far, I've found Manchester that looks particularly good. Any other suggestions?

I thought that you could do Part III without a first if your college appeals for you. (In which case, might be worth asking them to do this).
Also, do you know how strict Warwick are about their first requirement. (Would they relax it for Cambridge?)
I can't really help otherwise, since I haven't really looked at it.
