    Hi merry christmas to start with

    ok so i go to university of lincol riseholme campus and i have a cater hall there but i dont wanna live there anymore because its far to expencive its cheaper for me to commute so here my question can i break my contract and give up my room and then commute .... will i hae to pay a charge for doing this or what ??? help please

    It really will depend on Lincoln's policy with accommodation. A lot of places seem to follow the idea that, if you can find someone else to take over your accommodation, you can move out and only lose your deposit. Of course, they can't force you to use the room, but can continue charging you for it.

    Go and speak to the accommodation office and see what they can help you with; you might find they have a waiting list or will assist in finding someone. Good luck.

    that is part of the policy but there are empty rooms in my block so it will be hard to find some one that will take the room from me but im waiting for them to email me back because i want to move out before the rent is due and that is soon in jan soooo i hope i can sort something
