Both are excellent at teaching pharmacy so I wouldnt worry about the teaching side, what I would suggest is that you visit each university as they are very different. Bath is a campus university in a small city, some people feel too small, others like it. Im at bath so if you want to ask me any personal questions about it feel free

I am concerned about the pre-regestration. as i think that Bath might be a better choice as it's in the south west and thus has less competition over places.

while for notts, it has a teaching hosptial and boots headquarters besides the uni and i think notts might also have an advantages. but the competition would be cut-throat as there are lots of pharm schools in the midlands?

how could you comment on the differences in curriculum between the uni? i think i would be more intreseted in community / hosptial pharmacy than industrial ones.

Unfortunately, having Boots HQ nextdoor doesn't mean anything to anyone in the pharmacy world and we only went on one short visit there which was pretty pointless. Secondly, the teaching hospital refers to medical students only and doesn't effect pharmacy students. We don't get taught clinical skills via patient interaction like some universities do - we have a series of lectures followed by workshops.

Just choose the place you'd rather live. They are both good unis and going to either one wont increase your chances of getting a pre-reg placement. Remember you have to live there for 4 years and the happier you are the better you will do.

I didn't apply to Nottingham in the end, I didn't get good vibes from it :P
So really it's a personal choice, visit both again and then decide
