Basically I'm stuck between two universities for my MA in Producing Film and Television - Royal Holloway and Bournemouth. I like them both so I'm confused. I'm an international student so mostly I'm thinking career-wise.

I have only two questions which will probably sway my decision:
    1) Does BU have a good % of postgraduates getting jobs within two months of the course?
    2) The RHUL course is based in London, not the main campus. Is the expense worth it? Is the course as good?

If anyone has an answer to either, that would be great! Any other advice is welcome.

Bournemouth is very highly rated for its media courses and is also an accredited Skillset Academy, which Royal Holloway can't claim. Also, Royal Holloway's MA is geared toward producing for fiction, whereas Bournemouth's is broader in scope.

However, studying in London may put you in a better position for job opportunities, networking etc., which in some ways is more important than qualifications. I guess this depends on whether you plan to stay in the UK after you finish?

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for your answer! I do hope to stay for a year or two for experience. I'm almost sold on Bournemouth, but worried about getting a job in the two months that I'm allowed to stay. Are the industry links as good as they claim?
