This xmas, my phone has gone on the blink - I literally can't use the phone Samsung S600, I cant hear anything like speakers are dead....and the screen is kinda ruined. Anyway, Im with orange and I was wondering if it is possible I could get a new phone , an upgrade. I want an iphone 4 (preferably), do you think if I ask i can get an early upgrade if I explain to them ive been on high tariff and will remain with them - otherwise Ill cancel the contract and go else where...which is more annoying for them,..what negiotiation tactics can I use to sway them? please help =)

Oh, by the way, Im due an upgrade April anyway, so not that long..hoping they could overlook this...

You can get a new contract with orange about 2 - 3 month early... I think you can also add the remainder of your contract onto the end of the new contract you want to take out..

I just bought the remaining 3 months of my contract out and gave the SIM to a finance strapped friend as i was wanting to move to T-Mobile.. who have now handily become the same company.

If you go to Orange and tell them your issues they might help, I know I upgraded like a month early and I had to pay like £75, hope this helps!

No I got the new iPhone 3gs and I had a blackberry, think the reason I had to pay was cos I was starting a new contract or something
