wondering what everyone thinks of them and which one are their favourites? first drafts so bear with me

    2.

    Spoiler:
    Show

a little boy, pale as a cut fish,

skims a stone over the skin of a frozen lake.
    or it seems like skimming,

    ....................since the stone is smooth,

and it bounces once, twice, leaving
little marks on the surface of the ice.

    ....................It is dark now
    ....................and raining. And whilst
    .........................water freezes

at this time of night, stones lay still. Drops of rain
run over the cracks like thin scales,

and everything returns back to the way it was--
    ................................ ................................ ..............by morning.

I gather up each sound you left behind and stretch them on our bed.

each night I breathe you and become high.
