    Hi,

    I can do the obvious things but nothing fancy and would like to know some cool tricks, effects etc.

    Has anybody got any good websites, youtube channels or tutorials?

    I have sony vegas & adobe premiere pro & after effects.

    i use sony vegas pro 8 (need to dload 10 really) and i dabble with adobe after effects (ae) depending on the type of editing, you need a decent ram though! at least 4gb
    if you want to use ae a lot (because let face its awesome xD) i would recommend learning adobe premiere pro as you can import your projects straight into ae.
    cs4 should be out in tehparadox if you want to dload it
