While presently watching ER, I find it increasingly baffling and confusing with the terms used throughout the programme. Now, do aspiring med students(or current for that matter) have the same problem?

You'd like to think so Elpaw.........but I have my doubts. It can very easily pass people by, very much like a general diagnosis in ER!

am watching as I type...

It's quite reassuring that I actually do have some idea what they're talking about. Good to try and work out diagnosis and treatment regimes etc. If I don't understand, I tend to try and find out and that way remember for the future.
