# Easy C3 solving question - Help! Watch

1. Hey, been working my way through some past papers and really stuck on the last part of the question. I've checked on the mark scheme and that hasn't helped me get there
Could anyone explain how to do it?
I get the feeling it's probably something really obvious I'm missing but I'm just stumped

(c) Find the coordinates of the points of intersection of the curve C with the x-axis.

The equation work it out is
5sin(2x+0.927)=0

^^ Checked on the markscheme and thats the right working out so far

Also, to make your life easier, cancel the 5.

Thanks, I've done the substitution business, however how do I solve 5sinQ=0?
Sorry, feeling abit slow here
4. Divide both sides by 5.

5X=0

Then X can only be 0.

Using the same principle,

5Cos X= 0

Then Cos X = 0.

Hope this helps.
