I have a disability and I don't think I can do the 5 year medicine degree.

All the course descriptions I read centre around "fitness of practice", the determination you need to be a doctor, dealing with patients etc..

I can't possibly practice as a doctor, but I want to learn stuff about diseases and treatments.

Are there any degrees with the content of medicine; diseases and treatments. But a course where there isn't a focus on being a doctor?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Is the disability as significant as you think it may be?

The content behind Medical Science/Biomedical Science/etc. degrees are vaguely similar to that of medicine, without the clinical skills and such. Try having a look at some of those.

Yeah it would stop me from talking to patients etc

Thanks for that I'm going to do some research on Biomedical Science.
