I got with a guy on a 1 night stand, I met him in town in a bar and went back to his uni halls. When we were in his room he seemed shy and turned the lights out, he said to me you are beautiful... why don't you have a boyfriend? I asked him why he thought that and he was like what.. have you not seen yourself? we started kissing and ended up sleeping together. The next morning he was really shy, he had his down and he didn't really say anything, I just went off on the bus and that was it. I was wondering whether he would have complimented me, and meant it? Or was it probably made up for effect? I can't get over it, I found him really attractive

I'm sure you posted the exact same thread a while ago. He might have meant it. He might have just been saying it to get laid. The latter is more likely, but if you aren' going to see him again it doesn't matter.
