is there a year abroad forum on tsr for students doing languages degrees that have to do it in their third year?

I could really do with some help getting a job in a francophone country!

I want to go to a big city- ideally montreal, marseille or paris- I just want to find something approved by my uni to do- it has to be either a uni course designed for french native speakers, a job in french or teaching english...

    any help??

this would be useful, it would be good to get some advice from previous assistants too.

OP, one thing I know from our own meeting about the year abroad is it can be really really difficult to find a job and a) Paris and Marseilles are EXPENSIVE and b) it's really difficult to find lodging in Paris. I suppose Montreal would be similar but also the degree of bilingualism there would mean you'd have to focus particularly on finding a french speaking job for it to be approved.

EDIT: the international lounge though could be useful in getting info from french students. You should have a look in there.

There's no forum unfortunately but there are two threads for this year and next year which might help. You could also try this site.
