I'm currently visiting my family in America for Christmas and someone gave me an iPod as a gift. Since I already have an iPod, I'm looking to return it. If I were to bring it to an Apple Store in the UK unopened, would they give me a refund? Since it is a gift, I do not have a receipt or anything.

I doubt it, they might give you an apple giftcard of the same value though

I rang them up a while ago regarding this issue, they told me it should be fine as all iPod have serial numbers, thus they can give you the value that you paid for it back.

Edit: Though, without a receipt I would doubt it. May be in store credit though
