January Exam Watch
Looking at past papers, we have one essay question in the second part of the exam.
After asking the lecturer, we have to put references in, just not as detailed as for a coursework essay.
As we don't know the questions, shall I look through old exam papers and find perhaps 5 sources to do with each question? (As no doubt, some will appear twice) So then I'd have a few sources I could add into one question. Would I need to get more specific in any way?
Also, for the exam, we have to answer 5 (4 in section A, 1 in section B), both sections is worth 50%. I'm wondering how much I'd roughly have to get right to get a 2.1 (60)
Sorry for all the questions, just a bit nervous about the exam.
1) look at each lecture - Write down what the topic is
2) note any references mentioned in the lecture notes, these are key references that you should remember
3) Choose 3 or 4 topics and get to know them completely off the top of your head
4) do further reading on topics to demonstrate extra knowledge which, providing the main body of your essay is correct/makes sense, can easily bump you up to a first (70%+)
Is section A the same kind of thing or?
