hair colouring

Trying to dye part of my hair and wanted to know about allergic reaction. Ive just mixed and applied it but feel a bit dizzy, don't know if its cause im paranoid or not though. Its been on 5 minutes I am a bit of a hypochondriac though, any experienced hair dye people?

it could just be that your getting high off the fumes

if it starts itching or burning, or you get difficulty breathing, increased heart rate/palpitations, then i'd start to worry

you could get yourself into a better ventilated area (unless you're already in one, in which case you might want to rethink the brand of hair dye you use) :smile:

All hair dye stinks :biggrin:

Rub it all in then go somewhere with fresher air for half an hour so while it does it's stuff and you should be fine. I started to feel a bit ooooooh after a while with mine, it wasn't an allergic reaction, it's natural with all those chemicals around.

Well its woke my parents up and their bedroom is at the other side of the house! My mums just banged on the door asking whats that smell, and theres a dead fly on my floor!, things are getting strange :biggrin:

I didn't do the strand test so im a bit wary.

what brand are you using?
cos some of them actually smell quite nice, namely garnier nutrisse and there was one by charles worthington that smelled beautiful

hmmm from past experiences :smile:

it could be the smell which is getting to you.
if you feel any stinging then rinse it out as you may have an allergic reaction.

i use loreal paris to dye my hair :smile:

ive been dying my hair regulary since i was 14 you need to be in a well ventillated area and you should Always do a strand test, one hair dye my not have any effect whereas another may cause a severe reaction
