After losing my beloved Fujifilm Finepix S1500 on a coach I am trying to decide between 2 cameras to buy as a replacement (both fujifilm as I'm used to them and they seem to take a good photo. I'd love a dSLR but it's just not an option right now.

Either the Fujifilm Finepix S2500HD http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/5004...x-s2500hd.html

or the Fujifilm Finepix S1800 http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/5338...pix-s1800.html

The only difference I can see is that the S2500HD has an optical rather than electronic viewfinder and mechanical image stabilisation, while the S1800 has an electronic viewfinder and Optical image stabilisation. Which one should I buy?

Can I ask why an SLR isn't an option? I'm guessing its price

I'd personally go for the S1800, because it gives you the option of a electronic viewfinder if you needed it, without losing anything

Price, yeah, I had to spend all my savings on rent last year so until I get a job, no SLR
