if you are in top set for a subject e.g science, but you have no intentions on following a career in that subject should you still give 100% into your revision and exams :confused::confused:

Of course! Putting in 100% and revising for a subject that you're not particularly interested in will surely help in developing a better academic ethic.

In other words, preparing well for Science may help you prepare well for other subjects.

If your in the top set your clearly good at it. I'd make sure you do all the homework, set revision time etc., but you may not need to put as much hard work in to get top grades. Doing well in science/other academic subjects looks good whatever subject your going into - shows your bright which is a major plus.
