check out the law section of personal statement library for some good examples

generally though, the admissions tutors want to see an interest in Law as an academic subject, things you've done that show your interest in law (debating, reading introductory/more specific books), relevant work experience and what you got out of it and skills that you have developed that can be put to use in a law degree. extra curriculars shouldn't take up more than a third of a statement (less, if you're applying to a top uni) and should be followed by what was gained from it (i.e. confidence/interpersonal skills/whatever).
