Help! 1940s/50s style dress.... watch

    • Thread Starter

Hey gals (and fashion savvy guys!),

In that post-christmas, yippee-I-have-christmas-money-and-a-ball-to-go-to-next-term, I'm looking for a particular kind of dress: off-shoulder, 1940s/1950s style, full length ball dress, for a decidedly black tie event. Think Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman when she goes to the opera: off shoulder, slinky, flared skirt, just a bit gorgeous.

Can anyone help, please? I know such things exist on the great wide internet world, but I can't find them!

Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
