    I weighed myself last night and about choked on my tea at how much weight I'd put on. Hoping to lose at least a stone ASAP really...

    What should I be eating? Is there any particular exercise I should be doing? Would particularly like to lose fat in my face.

    Running and either real rowing or the rowing machine I find have been the bests results for me. And also foods like salads, soups, rice cakes/crackers, tinned spaghetti and wholemeal sandwhiches are the lowest caloried 'filling' foods I've found. The weight just fell off for me and it was surprisingly easy as hell.

    Find out your BMR, subtract 300 from that, eat that amount, and exercise 4 times a week for an hour. Diet, mixed with exercise always works.

    Try to cut out crap, cakes, biscuits, etc, but have a sort of cheat once a week, because it gives your metabolism a shock. By cheat, I mean, a piece of chocolate cake, not a whole mcdonalds or anything.

    Run, cross train, cycle, do whatever cardio you want. Mix it with weights, to try to preserve some muscle mass, and your sorted.

    Your face problem, you can't spot reduce fat on your face, or anywhere for that matter. Your face fat will go down as your body fat goes down.
