I've just got an offer from SOAS for this course and I was wondering if anybody on here has done it. If so, what's it like? What modules did you choose? Is the teaching good? What have you gone on to do? What kind of people take the course (ethnic and academic/professional background, gender etc.)?

I've also had an offer from York for their MA in Applied Human Rights, and am waiting to hear from Birkbeck and UCL for their MAs in Human Rights, but I think I'm leaning towards SOAS anyway. Would you agree that this would be the best choice? (I would like to work in human rights in the NGO/UN sector)

Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
