I am hoping to take a PGCE after I graduate from university, but I'm not sure where I want to take the course. I really want to stay living at home this time, having already had the whole living away experience at university for my undergraduate degree. I'd find it a lot easier and cheaper to live at home this time around. Does anyone know of any good universities that do Primary teaching PGCEs in London or nearby? My nearest universities that do the course are Goldsmiths, Greenwich, UEL and London SouthBank, but I'm really not sure how good these universities are for the course. Does anybody have any advice? I'm only just starting to look at universities as I will apply for 2012 (hence my ignorance so far )

Also, my undergraduate degree is in Archaeology, do you think this will get in the way of my application, as I know they prefer you to have a curriculum subject? I've been thinking of teaching since I was young, but I wanted to take a degree in something I'd not studied much before rather than a curriculum subject.
