I've not long started at Next as a xmas temp (i had my induction the saturday before christmas) and was wondering how i get paid. I know that it goes into my bank account but do i need to collect anything from my boss or will they send it through the post? I've had one letter already but i'm not sure what it means. I have also been unable to check my bank account lately so not sure whether any money has been paid in yet.

Also are xmas temps paid monthly or weekly? I've heard a few different things.

Any help would be greatful, thanks!

xmas temps are paid weekly, but we were told to wait 3 weeks before we raise any disputes with pay and stuff because it takes a while to put people on the system and it had been screwing up. but it should be weekly. and it should just go into your bank account, did you fill out a form with that info during your induction?

i'm a temp too, i'm not exactly sure about payslips and stuff, i'm guessing they just send it through to your address though as you're not working there now so they won't be able to hand it to you.
