I've been looking at the stocks I want to invest in on iii.com and it shows related ones and ones others have picked. I want to invest in BP and then a technology firm like intel but on the uk market. Apple maybe, doubt that will fall any time soon as it constantly releases new and popular tools. If I see a stock that way and look into it a little is that wise? I know nothing about predicting stocks or what to look for in research other than anything obvious like a new product or the possibility of something good happening

Also would it be wise to max out my overdraft and invest it in something pretty much guaranteed to rise again like apple or bp?

Also is there anywhere I can look, or a book to get to advise me?
