I finished school in the summer but I failed to get the grades I wanted so I am doing retakes this year.
I have ABD (A in geog) and want to get my D (in bio) to a B; through 3 module retakes.
I am currently applying to uni but I have the problem that my old school, who are doing my reference, say that they won't predict me grades.
I am applying to do geography, which I love, but the universities I actually want to go to all have grades that are above ABD.
    Can I predict myself grades?
If I have to apply with no predicted grades, what are the chances that ABB/BBB universities will even consider my application?

    Thanks

I'm in a similar position, no your not meant to predict your own grades, your reference/referee is...

My tutor predicted my grades and then sent them to my refereee.

I don't have a tutor at the moment, and if I got a tutor now they wouldn't know me well enough to predict me grades anyway.

You can explain that you have no tutor and therefore no predicted grades. They can give you a conditional offer

    Where/how do I explain that?

Have your referee write it in the reference or E-mail the universities your are applying too beforehand.
