I'm having a problem because there are two inequalities that i have found to work out a linear programming problem:
the first one is x is more than or equal to 20/100 (x+y)
which gives 4x is more than or equal to y
with the second inequality i found which is:
x is less than or equal to 40/100 (x+y)
I get 3x is more than or equal to 2y
but in the mark scheme this inequality is 3x is LESS than or equal to 2y ??
I really don't understand why this is because inequalities only flip when dividing or multiply by a negative don't they??
