I got a letter from Reading today telling me I had been accepted, at the bottom of the letter it says, 'Tuition Fee: £3375: (This is the fee for your first year only. Fees for subsequent years are subject to an annual increase.)'.

I assume this means if I want to go to Reading I would be looking at £6k+ after the first year?

Other unis have told me that these fee increases will not affect me. I didn't want to go to Reading anyway, but this looks like the final nail in the coffin.

no you wont be paying 6k+

pretty sure the increases they're talking about is to take into account inflation

Annual increases are hardly anything, and most of the time uni's just stick to the same fees each year. Mine stayed the same for the 3 years I was there. At least they actually let you know, by the sounds of it the other universities havent!

My 2 brothers went to uni from 2005 to this year. It went up every year. You will not pay the £6K.
