I remember that description being thrown around about the movie by adverts, promo and by certain reviews but well... I don't know actually, I haven't seen every action movie so I can't it definetely is

But the greatest action cast ever assembled for a single movie? Possibly, yeah, though Jean Claude Van Damme getting added would have made it even more awesome

Also what do you give it out of 10 and why?

7/10 from me - technically not the best film ever, we got thrown straight into the plot and I would have liked some more backstory and character info (leading onto me thinking the film easily could have been half an hour longer), the action was really good though, loved Jason Stathams' fight scenes as well as Steve Austins' and any scene with Terry Crews in it. Yeah any scene lol

You could say the plot was so-so but it's an almost mindless action flick so what do you expect, with such a big ensemble cast film like this you can almost expect a watered down plot so oh well.

yeah why was he not in it... He'll probably make the sequel though. If that goes ahead

actually they might as well just throw in some other wrestlers, The undertaker, Triple H, Kane

Far from the best action movie, and the cast ended up being pretty disappointing, the early news and **** made it out like it'd be a real, full on ensemble kinda thing and it wasn't. That and it was like... Boring as ****.

8/10 for the action

3/10 for the story

but who in their right mind saw the trailer and thought they were going to get a good story? It's a film for guys who are fans of 80's/early 90's action movies.

It was so obvious that Sly wrote the lines himself, too many cliches as well

LOL i think he's talking about the film not the Wrestler. But yeah wrestlers are ideal for action films.

3/10. Poor story, very ropey special effects considering the budget (look at what Skyline was able to achieve on a budget a fraction of the size), pretty bad acting, and almost disingenuous advertising selling the film partially on the basis of Arnie and Willis being in it, when if you'd blinked you'd have missed them.

Mickey Rourke looked like the only person in it who was enjoying himself.

Certainly not.
Good cast but the film was terrible and predictable.
Acting wasn't that good, there wasn't any chemistry between the actors - it was just so generic.

I would give it a 6/10 but I love Stallone.

Yep, wrote and directed, so even if he could, he probably didn't want a complex and intelligent film. Just 'splosions, lots of machine guns and a simple plot but it was a good popcorn flick, nothing more

Statham was awesome in it, but tbh if he wasn't in it I wouldn't have bothered watching it.

I'm not a fan. Maybe it was because I watched it as film number 6 of an 14 hour non stop cinema session but I personally just couldn't wait for it to finish. Bad acting and surprisingly boring for an action film I thought.

6/10. Standard action movie really - no originality whatsoever. Its strongest point is the cast, but I thought a few of them were a bit underused.
