I sent off my UCAS form before October holidays hoping to have the whole thing over with other than potnetial interviews.. I was wrong.

I received an email from Glasgow University recently saying that they've decided to withdraw the Biomedical Sciences Degree from the university due to the majority of applicants switching to another similar course within the same school.

The options i've been given are:
    - Choose another course within the same school of Glasgow Uni
    - Choose any other course within Glasgow Uni
    - Apply to another Uni to do the desired course

I've chosen the latter (my cousin told me bad things about Glasgow Uni and this whole ordeal has caused me to lose respect completely) and this is the information I was given on withdrawing my choice:

"If you would prefer to be considered by another university, and you have not made your replies, you can use UCAS Track to notify UCAS of your choice. If you have already replied to offers and want to be considered by an alternative institution then you can contact UCAS on 0870 1122211 to notify them of your choice. It is best to make the change or contact UCAS before 15th January 2011, if you want to apply to another institution. If you don’t want an alternative choice then please use Track to let UCAS know that you want to withdraw the choice that has been discontinued."

However, as I've already been given a conditional offer, UCAS track will not allow me to "Cancel Choice".

If anyone can tell me how to go about this whole annoying situation.. it would be HUGELY appreciated?? Thanks

Can you not withdraw the choice? If not then phone UCAS on the 4th Jan.

Just to let you know, your cousin is probably not a representative enough sample for the quality of Glasgow uni...

UCAS is closed until Jan 4th, so no. Don't touch anything on Track or you will not be able to choose another course.
