Hey, I need some help with this T.V card B.S.

I just picked up a card for £5 from a friend, came with the remote and everything. I searched around, found the drivers for it, but when I checked out the folder, it had nothing that resembled a exe... Just a bunch of random file extensions.

I'm trying to run this on a semi-media centre PC I built useing an old PC (pentium 4) and its running XP Home SP2.

Any ideas how to get a T.V card working? I need to get this thing working within the next half hour.

    Thanks!

Go to the manufacturers website and download the drivers?

if it's .sys, .inf, .cat files then when windows wants yo update the drivers point it at the folder with those files and it should install the drivers. you'll probably then want some software. try something like media portal.

If you can give us the brand and the model of the card, as well as the interface it uses (PCI, USB...) we might be of further assistance.

You'll want to insert the card, and point the hardware wizard to the folder with the files.

You can also right click .inf files and click install.
