The "What Film Is This?" Thread

I'm desperately trying to find the name of a film I sure as a child. Firstly, IT'S NOT E.T.!!!!!!
It's quite old school, must be 80s maybe??

All i can remember is a boy finding some sort of little alien creature. They become friends, and at one point theyre in a spaceship together flying over a town in the dark with loads of stars in the sky...

Longshot, but anyone know what i'm talking about!? Lol

I don't suppose anyone here has any knowledge about Bollywood films (minus all the singing and dancing)?

The film I've been hunting down for years but still haven't been able to place is this lady who's blind - she was born with her sight but lost it after she was involved in a car accident when glass entered her eyes. The movie's mainly about her on a quest to get her sight back because even though she's blind she's still able to see spirits/have premonitions or something like that? like a third eye kind of thing. I can't remember much else about it but I remember loving it when I watched it years ago :/
There's this movie with the word 'Time' in its title and I don't know the full name or what it's about, but apparently it's amazing! So does anybody know an amazing movie with 'time' somewhere in the title? Is the Justin timberlake one that good because that might be the one.

You're thinking of "In Time", about a world where time is a tradeable commodity :smile: Last years "About Time" was another very good time relation movie, about a dude who could travel in time and uses it to find the love of his life :biggrin:

I have absolutely no clue what film that is :/ do you roughly remember the full storyline?
Hi, I watched this film about 2-3 years ago, it was about someone who had moved into a new house and had a pool party to celebrate, then meets the love of her life, but there's his house, and basically he hides his sister in the basement! It's quite a scary film! Please help me! Need to watch this again after exams!!!

I only really remember one scene where like this family is in some house for whatever reason and then their son disappears, it's like a mystery/horror storyline because he's still in the house but either went through a door his parents can't access or is in a parallel universe, idk. His father goes mad trying to find him and I think that one person who doesn't belong to the family (who was with them for whatever reason) knows about the paranormal activities going on, but I'm not 100% sure...

No, I actually have seen Insidious :smile: It wasn't a real horror movie, just kind of mystical, like I said, this kid must have gone through a door and was now in an inaccessible part of the house (twilight zone?)

But thanks anyway. I wish I could remember more, but I saw that movie about 4 1/2 years ago and wasn't even paying much attention..

OMG I'm such an idiot hahah I literally just found it, it's called 'The Lost Room' from 2006. I didn't quite get the story right, my bad. It's about this girl who goes into a room and then the entire room just disappears. But I knew that a father was on this search for his magically disappeared child lol

I watched a horror film when I was really young and it has stayed with me. It goes something like, a doll is fished out of the sea by fishermen? it ends up being given to a family. It is possessed or something. There is a scene where the dad sledgehammers down a brick wall to find his daughter in there.
