A very long time ago I saw this French film, but I can't remember its name... Can you help me? It was about this young girl who was home alone and she set something on fire. She got so scared and nervous that she dialled a random telephone number and this random guy picks up... And he tries to figure out where the girl lives (she doesnt remember the address and is too scared to go outside) by sending a bunch of ambulances I think it was around town, and trying to see whether they can hear them thru the phone.. And then I don't know what happened cuz I didn't see the end :frown:

Any clues?

You could check out Wikipedia's List of French Films. Perhaps you might find it there.

I know that's a very long list, but you could eliminate some of the years. How long ago was it when you saw it? An year? Two? Was it like in the 50s? Or the 80s? 90s? After 2000?

i watched it for a couple of times when I was a child in 1996/1997 something like that? (the film was shown for a couple of times in my primary school)I only remember certain moments of the movies:
-a family/a group of friends (children?) played a chess game.Basically they had to finish the game once they started. And with each move they made something would happn to them physically (like experiencing something or a monkey would come out etc)...it was kind of a dark/tad scary/thriller/adventurous movie in my opinion...

Thanks guys. It's just the the memories of this movie kept coming back to me the last couple of days.

there's this film i used to watch and i just cannot think what it's called! There was a little boy who i think gets adopted or something and he throws something on the ceiling and it lands on someones head. He then goes to a little girls bday party and ruins it (with a hose in her bedroom i think!) and she sings "it's my party and i'll cry if i want to)

i thought it was like dennis the mennace or junior or something, but i doesn't appear to be... are there different versions?! THANKS!!! :smile:
