No, because it's obvious that the whole 'I'm so weird' thing is just an act and a way of getting the media's attention. I'd be freaked out if she was genuinely like that though.

      I suppose.

I think it's sad she has to resort to that anyway, so much for her music being the main focus. Very attention seeking...

She looks better with brown hair :yep:.

I love to look at her fashion choices, she can certainly experiment intelligently and successfully with volume and shape and expectations etc when she puts her mind to it

But does she freak me out? No. She certainly makes me think, but she doesn't transcend or exploit my comfort zones, perhaps because she adheres to as many stereotypes as she seeks to defy, or because by definition she has to retain in part the things she tries to mess with.

For good old-fashioned freak out mindf*** though I certainly recommend Leigh Bowery (would bet my life on Gaga being a fan of his too, especially as she already mentioned being a Boy George fan)

      Wrong.
I don't think so. Tbh, I could give several reasons why she's awesome, but boring haters probably wouldn't get it :p:

Hey, great post :yy:. I like the links you posted. The article about GaGa's clothing looks really good, I've gotta read that when I get time. And wow, that Leigh Bowery guy is out of this world! :eek2:. You really seem into these eccentric people, don't you?

I reckon her dress sense may be a combination of attention seeking and a weird personality. Plus she used to/probably still takes drugs.

Awww thanks Yeah sorry I edited that now to a different article, in the one I tried to post, the web address name was spunky as ****, and obv when I pasted it in here it got changed to the stars, so didn't work properly. (here it is again though for anyone interested enough to change the stars to the f word themselves)

He's amazing isn't he! I just love the attitudes of all these people from decades ago, that can take the sort of introspective feelings ahd fears everyone has that they don't fit in or 'look right', and then manage to turn it into an art form, completely exaggerated way of dressing on the outside, that makes them look completely bizarre and someone you can't relate to but want to so badly (for me anyway).

Do you live in London? There are clubnights like The Face run by people that were part of the original scene, and you see some really good crazy outfits by people that go (video from one of the nights here, I'm a fuzzy shape in the background for like the tiniest millisecond )

Oh, about the url thing, if you want another way around it, just try http://tinyurl.com/ , it'll disguise any url address .

I live just outside of London, so it's only a short-ish train ride away for me :yep:. That clubnight looks pretty cool, I may try it sometime, thank for the recommendation :top:. I'm really into art of all sorts, so all that bizarre fashion and makeup really fascinates me .
